We are looking for you who want to train as a specialist in obstetrics and gynecology at our clinic.

The role of the resident physician

As a specialist physician in obstetrics and gynecology at the women's clinic, you will work with outpatient care, surgery, ward work, and throughout the obstetric care chain.

We work a lot in teams and place great emphasis on improvement work. We give you the opportunity to work independently in your subject areas while also developing work areas and participating in process work.

The position includes on-call duties after initial training, which usually takes about 9 months. The on-call shifts have a relatively high proportion of active time. In your role as a resident physician, you will collaborate with other clinics in the region, the women's clinic in Linköping, and above all, our patients.

Your future workplace

The Women's Clinic at Ryhov County Hospital has over 230 employees. We work with health care during pregnancy and childbirth, with postnatal care, gynecological diseases, infertility, abortion and contraceptive services, as well as youth reproductive health.

The Women's Health Care and Youth Clinic are part of the Women's Clinic. The clinic has a regional responsibility for women with complicated pregnancies and threatened premature births. The Women's Clinic is a process-oriented clinic.

Your profile

We are looking for you who are a licensed physician or are about to complete your internship.

To thrive with us, you should be secure and stable in yourself as a person and enjoy collaborating with others. You are empathetic and have the ability to remain calm even in stressful situations. In your professional role, you are able to make quick decisions and prioritize your tasks. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. Since travel within the region occurs, a B driver's license is required.
