Forsmark Nuclear Power Plant is one of the largest electricity producers in Sweden, generating one-sixth of the electricity consumed in the country. Nuclear power has very low fossil footprints and is a stable and weather-independent energy source. Since 1980, our three production facilities have delivered climate-smart electricity every day, all year round.

We are now looking for an employee who will work with construction inspections and maintenance in our maintenance group at Forsmark.
About the Job
The maintenance department is responsible for ensuring that our facilities and buildings always maintain high quality and function as they should. With us, you will work with inspections, follow-ups, and documentation of various types of construction-related maintenance.
Together with your colleagues, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and conducting inspections, as well as following up on actions taken. The role combines work in the facility with analysis, reporting, and collaboration with many professional groups.
Here, you will have the opportunity to develop work methods, influence routines, and contribute to long-term sustainability.
Your Responsibilities
- Conduct inspections and checks of buildings, production facilities, and completed work
- Document results, write clear reports, and suggest improvements
- Follow up on deviations and drive actions together with other groups and contractors
- Plan and coordinate contractors during maintenance and facility changes
- Prepare documentation and review materials related to the unit's area of responsibility
- Contribute to maintaining safety and quality in all work

Requirements
We are looking for someone who takes responsibility, works systematically, and enjoys collaborating with others. You are flexible when conditions change and contribute with a positive and unpretentious attitude.
We believe you have:
- High school education with a focus on construction or equivalent experience
- Interest in or experience with inspections, quality controls, or construction-related projects
- Good computer skills
- Very good Swedish and good English
Meritorious:
- Post-secondary education in construction or engineering
- Experience in building maintenance, renovation, or new construction, for example as a carpenter or construction technician
- Experience working in an industrial environment
- Good ability to write reports
