About the position

The client is a woman in her 45s with ALS who lives with her son and cat in an apartment in central Nykvarn. She lacks verbal speech and uses an eye-controlled computer to communicate.

A large part of her life is spent on rehab, watching sports, and spending time with her son. Therefore, it would be fun if you share her interest in sports (mainly football!), but it is not a requirement, just a bonus!

The job as an assistant is to be her extended arms and legs, but it is very important to understand that you work as a team together. Therefore, personal chemistry is extremely important so that the collaboration goes smoothly and well. You work alone during your shifts, but it is still important that you have a team spirit as you sometimes need to support your colleagues during unplanned as well as planned absences. Who are you? You who apply for the position are a woman, and you should be social, cheerful, and positive. You are meticulous, responsible, and structured, and have the ability to listen to others and understand your role in a family situation. It is also important that you are honest, enjoy working, and have the ability to create a positive atmosphere around you. You should like children as they are present in the home. You should also not be allergic to pets, as there is a cat in the home. It is important that you do not have any back problems or other issues, as there are some transfers involved with her. You should have great empathy, patience, and the ability to put yourself in another person's situation and be very attentive. It is important that you understand that you have a supporting role and that your client who has personal assistance has the main role.

Working hours and employment rate:

We are looking for people who can step in during vacancies, both for daytime, evening, and also during the night (awake night).

Salary: Fixed hourly wage according to agreement, other compensations are according to collective agreements.

Start date: As soon as possible, according to agreement.
