Department of Primary Care
Our 1800 employees work with close care and health in Uppsala County. We offer a wide range of services within primary care. Our patients meet us at Region Uppsala's own health centers or within habilitation, and we provide advice over the phone via 1177. Education, research, and development are important to us as we adapt our services to the needs of the residents. We already offer mobile teams, video visits, and smart e-services.
We are looking for a department pharmacist for the Department of Primary Care in Uppsala!
We are looking for someone who wants an exciting and developing job where you can help build a safe, patient-centered, and high-quality care. We offer a full-time (100%) temporary position until August 31, 2027. We would like you to start in mid-April 2026, but the start date can be adjusted by agreement.
Your mission
As a department pharmacist, you will be responsible for the department's medications and medication room, an important link in the care required by the inpatients. You will also work to ensure that there is a good structure and order in the medication room and, together with nurses, be responsible for medication management. You will also be responsible for preparing subcutaneous and intravenous medications as well as blood components. You will also be responsible for inventory, ordering, and unpacking medications, managing medication carts, and preparing medications for discharges. In addition, you will work to develop and improve the quality work ongoing in medication management issues in the department, both independently and together with our doctors and nurses. You will work closely with clinical pharmacists and other healthcare staff.
We work together to create a cohesive care process where everyone knows their role and where everyone can contribute to clarity and safety for patients and relatives.
Your qualifications

You find it exciting to be part of building and developing the business towards effective and close care by 2030. For you to succeed in the mission, it is required that you have experience working with other professions and that you are stimulated by multidisciplinary approaches and that you are interested in further developing this business together with us.
We place great emphasis on collaboration skills and the ability to communicate. As a person, you are self-driven, proactive, and responsible. You are quality-conscious, meticulous, and want to see concrete results from your work. You are analytical and structured and have the ability to prioritize while seeing the big picture. You have the ability to complete tasks and take responsibility for ensuring that the work is finished within given frameworks. You work well both in a team and with independent tasks. You have a good ability to express yourself both verbally and in writing.
