Heby Health Center

Our 1800 employees work with close care and health in Uppsala County. We offer a wide range of services within primary care. Our patients meet us at Region Uppsala's own health centers or in habilitation, and we provide advice over the phone via 1177. Education, research, and development are important to us, as we tailor our services based on the needs of the residents. We already offer mobile teams, video visits, and smart e-services.

Welcome to us at Heby Health Center! We offer a temporary position at 75% from April 1, 2026, to March 31, 2027, with a possibility of extension.

Your mission

With us, you will work as a reception nurse with tasks such as reception, telephone advice, and appointment booking. You will collaborate closely with other professionals at the health center. We actively work to improve patient flows through triage and booking for all professions.

Your competence

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse. Previous experience in primary care, health systems, telephone advice, asthma/COPD, smoking cessation, and triage is an advantage. To be successful in the role, you need to be flexible in your approach, enjoy taking overall responsibility, and have a strong desire to continuously develop the operations with the patient in focus. We seek someone who is positive, has a flexible working style, and a good ability to collaborate with others in the team, while also having the experience and drive to work independently. We place great emphasis on personal qualities.

Our operations

Heby Health Center belongs to the department of Close Care and Health, Region Uppsala, and is located in western Uppland with about 7,000 registered patients, and we are 30 employees working in teams. Our operations are broad, and all professional areas within the health center's mission are represented. We also have a youth clinic.
