We work person-centered and all staff undergo training from the Swedish Dementia Center, Star Marked. The department receives residents who need care and support for a shorter period. Most come directly after a hospital stay and need to recover and rehabilitate after a period of illness. There are also several rooms on the department used for respite care. We are a close-knit and secure workgroup with a pleasant atmosphere where we care for each other.

The workplace is located in Bålsta center just a few minutes' walk from the transport center. Direct buses are available to Västerås, Enköping, Uppsala, Märsta, Kista, and Arlanda. SJ and SL have stops at the transport center.

Your Responsibilities

With us, you provide good care and support based on the individual needs and conditions of each resident. We work person-centered and based on each elderly person's individual needs. We focus on the healthy and encourage everyday rehabilitation. The work is done in a team with a nurse, physiotherapist, and occupational therapist. Practical tasks such as cleaning, food handling, and laundry are included in the position.

Social documentation, delegated health and medical care tasks, and case management are part of your responsibilities.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant through the care and nursing program or equivalent. To succeed in the job, you need to have experience so that you feel secure in your professional role.

Experience in short-term/respite care and dementia is requested and is meritorious.

Håbo municipality is a Finnish administrative area, so knowledge of the Finnish language may be an advantage.

You should find it easy to establish relationships with others and need to be unpretentious in your way of acting. It is important that you have a positive view of people to create good relationships with residents, relatives, and colleagues.
