Our Operations
Clinical physiology is a field focused on functional diagnostics that is part of the heart and lung disease area. Here, biomedical analysts, doctors, and nurses work in teams where our different competencies contribute to providing the patient with the correct diagnosis. Each year, we perform approximately 26,000 examinations, both planned examinations when patients come from home and acute examinations on patients who are hospitalized here at the hospital. In addition, we are involved in several research projects and have a large educational mission.
Your Mission
You will work in a workplace with varied, meaningful, and developing work. The tasks of a biomedical analyst include independently performing clinical physiological diagnostics such as exercise tests, long-term ECGs, lung function and gastrointestinal diagnostics, as well as ultrasound of the heart and vessels. We have a competency model that highlights development and career paths ranging from new in the role, independent, experienced to specialist. With us, you can stay and continue to find new challenges and develop throughout your professional life. We also have special assignments such as report writing and main supervision tasks.
Your Qualifications
We are looking for you who are a licensed biomedical analyst. Experience in clinical physiology is highly meritorious. To thrive in the role, you need to:
- Have an interest in functional diagnostics and medical technical equipment.
- Be comfortable in patient-facing work.
- Be able to work independently with examination responsibility.
- Have good collaboration skills in teams and with other professions.
- Have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
Previous experience in independently conducting clinical physiological examinations is an advantage.
We Offer
We offer a developing and interesting job where you will meet both acutely ill and hospitalized patients as well as outpatient patients. With us, there are good opportunities for professional development within the clinic. Here you will work with medicine, people, and technology.
We offer a permanent position as a biomedical analyst full-time. Working hours are scheduled during daytime, Monday to Friday. Start date according to agreement. A probationary period may apply.
Interviews will be conducted continuously during the application period, and the position may therefore be filled before the application deadline has passed.
