We are now looking for a work environment consultant for a socially important operation within process and industry-related environment.

The assignment is broad and operational with great personal responsibility and includes both strategic work environment efforts and ongoing support to the business.

Assignment content

Medical checks and exposure controls (approx. ½ day/week)

• Ensure that statutory medical checks are carried out to the right extent through occupational health services

• Follow up and administer fitness certificates

• Manage lists, documentation, validity periods, and dialogue with HR and managers

• Ensure compliance with applicable legal requirements

The role involves significant administrative follow-up.

IA system (approx. ½ day/week)

• Act as a superuser together with the internal auditor

• Follow up accidents and incidents in collaboration with managers and safety representatives

• Analyze events and propose overarching measures

• Ensure that reporting is done correctly and used as a tool in preventive work environment efforts

Safety committee (periodically)

• Develop and administer committee work

• Strengthen knowledge within the work environment area, including among the management team

• Plan and conduct committee meetings

Risk assessments (periodically)

• Support the business within the framework of SAM

• Follow up measures and ensure implementation

Annual follow-up (periodically)

• Initiate and follow up work environment measures

• Support managers in investigations

• Report any deficiencies to company management

• Prepare overall analysis and report

Ongoing managerial support (approx. 1 day/week)

• Advising on systematic work environment efforts, mainly physical work environment

Work and protective clothing

• Contact person with the supplier

• Update information on the intranet

• Manage price lists and product information

Role development

• Together with HR, update and clarify the job description for the work environment specialist role

Requirements profile

• University degree in work environment, HR, behavioral science, or equivalent

• At least 5 years of documented experience as a work environment specialist or equivalent

• Experience in introducing, developing, and managing work environment routines

• Experience from similar industries in process or manufacturing

• Driver's license (B)

• Very good ability to express oneself in Swedish, both orally and in writing

The work is mainly carried out on-site with the possibility of one day per week remotely.
