Do you want to help enable the climate transition?

Do you also want to be part of Sweden's most attractive and equal industry? Then you might be the one we are looking for!

Within our business area of energy, we have the department of process and development.

We have a broad and central function for the stability of operations, production efficiency, and development capacity. We are strategically important as we are responsible for production planning, project portfolio, technical investigations, and development initiatives within the district heating operations. With us, there are both project managers and process engineers, and now we are looking for a new everyday hero to help contribute to a greener future!

Your tasks

In this role, you will contribute to stable and efficient processes in an increasingly complex operation. You will drive and coordinate various improvement initiatives, support the business in translating strategies into concrete changes in work methods and flows, ensure that projects are carried out with the right quality, and help strengthen our internal ability to work systematically and sustainably. Our project portfolio mainly consists of various facility projects. Some examples of ongoing projects include extending the lifespan of our existing base production facilities and upgrading various systems related to the operation of our facilities.

With us, you get to plan most of your workday yourself; you know best how to work smart and most efficiently. You have a lot of freedom under responsibility but, of course, have your colleagues to bounce ideas off. We offer up to 50 percent remote work for a good balance between work and leisure. In our group today, we have a high level of competence, a very good atmosphere, and a lot of openness.

"At ESEM, you can work on interesting and exciting projects while contributing to a sustainable energy system" - says Mikael Schöllin, department manager

Education and previous experience

We are curious to meet you who enjoy finding solutions, want to work in a department that values your ideas, thrive when working together with others, and are motivated by seeing results.

You have:

  • A master's degree in energy systems/mechanical engineering or equivalent.
  • Experience in production planning within processes related to energy production or from the process industry.
  • Experience in project management and investigations within combined heat and power or the process industry.

Welcome to us!
