What awaits you?
As a Product Engineer/Process Engineer at Outokumpu, you will dive into a world of exciting challenges and opportunities:
• Innovation at the core: Collaborate with senior experts to enhance process methods, improve quality, and reduce costs.
• Hands-on learning: Create and implement test plans, document improvements, and drive continuous enhancements.
• Project management: Participate in groundbreaking projects, work with top talent, and lead innovations in process metallurgy, cold rolling, annealing, and pickling.
• Collaboration and growth: Work with universities, institutes, and customers to develop new technical knowledge and future technologies.
• Global exposure: Represent Outokumpu in various internal and external assignments, including supplier and customer visits.
• Networking: Act as the link between Sales and Production. Be a technical expert and support to the Sales organization to determine what can be produced. Also, be a technical expert to Production on how the product is affected by various parameters.
Who are you?
• A master's degree in metallurgy and materials or equivalent experience.
• 1-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in metallurgy/material science, particularly in annealing, cooling, and rolling of stainless steel.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence and collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders.
• A talent for teamwork, time management, and risk management.
• The ability to present and communicate information effectively to various audiences.
In this role, we offer a salary between 40,000 - 52,000 SEK/month, based on factors such as education, experience, skills, and geographical location. Please contact the responsible Talent Acquisition Partner for more information.
