Mälarplast AB continues to grow and is now looking for an experienced Plastics Technician who wants to help drive our production forward. About the role

As a Plastics Technician at Mälarplast AB, you will be part of the production management and become one of our technical key persons in injection molding production. You will work closely with operators, setters, and the maintenance team to ensure that our processes function optimally – every day.

In this role, you will:

• Perform tool changes and machine settings to ensure a stable production flow.

• Work with troubleshooting, problem-solving, and process optimization in injection molding.

• Monitor production and ensure that our quality requirements and routines are followed.

• Conduct measurements and quality controls with high accuracy.

• Collaborate with the maintenance department on preventive maintenance of machines and tools.

• Actively contribute to the development, improvement, and efficiency of our technical processes.

• Instruct and internally train operators and setters in the department.

Qualifications and experience

We are looking for someone who:

• Has at least 2 years of experience as a plastics technician in injection molding.

• Possesses a very good technical understanding, especially related to machine settings and machine safety.

• Is skilled at analyzing, troubleshooting, and optimizing processes.

• Has a good ability to work systematically, even under time pressure.

• Enjoys collaboration and has clear communication skills.

• Has preferably completed a plastics technician training or equivalent – meritorious but not required.
