The Social Administration works to ensure that all citizens can receive the support they may need in various situations. This is done within the framework of social services' assignments and various legislations, as well as based on the values of the Social Administration. This may involve home care, special housing, advice and support for people with disabilities, financial assistance, or help with addiction problems. The municipality's competence supply unit is also part of the administration.

The Social Administration is divided into five areas: Home Care, care and nursing homes, health and medical care, individual and family care, and the area for people with disabilities.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a care assistant in home care, you play an important role in direct contact with our clients, providing personal care and service tasks such as cleaning and laundry. You show great consideration for each client's individual needs.

Your work also includes performing delegated tasks from licensed health and medical staff. These may include medical and rehabilitative interventions such as dressings, medication administration, and training. You contribute positively to the development of the operations in close collaboration with your manager and colleagues. In line with the new Social Services Act 2025, we welcome your interest in working preventively and knowledge-based.

You will work according to a schedule including days, evenings, and weekends. Most tasks are performed in the client's home, which you reach by walking, cycling, or driving. Depending on what the client needs help with, you will work alone or together with colleagues.

Since the job involves a lot of movement, you should have a basic fitness level that can handle this. We work with fixed care contacts, which means you will have primary responsibility for some of the clients.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with the following education and skills:

• Education - upper secondary care program or equivalent. For permanent employment, a care assistant certification is required.
• IT skills - you are comfortable using a computer/tablet to document, report, and read emails.
• Driver's license B and driving experience.
• Swedish language - able to communicate verbally and in writing in Swedish. Requirement for ongoing documentation in the work.
