We are now looking for an EHS Nordic Coordinator for our pleasant client BSH in Solna.
About the role
In the role of EHS Nordic Coordinator, you will be responsible for driving, developing, and ensuring effective work within Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) at BSH Northern Europe, covering the Nordic countries and the Baltic states. The role combines strategic governance and operational implementation to create a proactive safety culture that provides employees with the right conditions to work safely and in a good working environment.
You will report to the Nordic Facility Manager and work closely with local managers, occupational health contacts, as well as regional and global support functions. The corporate language is English.
This is a full-time consulting assignment for 12 months with good opportunities for extension or permanent employment with BSH. Desired start as soon as possible, considering notice period. You will be employed by us at The Place and work at the client company.
Responsibilities
In the role of EHS Coordinator at BSH, you will work with:
Ensuring compliance with legal requirements, internal guidelines, and BSH's EHS framework.
Developing and implementing processes, procedures, and working methods for EHS.
Leading and conducting risk assessments, incident investigations, and workplace inspections in various parts of the organization.
Supporting and training managers and local occupational health contacts within Customer Service and Logistics.
Independently performing critical EHS tasks where local resources are lacking.
Driving follow-ups and improvements in workplace safety.
Preparing and presenting reports to management regarding risks and improvements.
Experience
Relevant higher education in occupational health, safety, or equivalent.
1–3 years of experience in qualified EHS work, preferably in a larger or complex organization.
Good knowledge of occupational health and safety legislation.
Strong system knowledge.
Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
Personal qualities
As a person, you have the ability to work independently, structured, and pragmatically. You take responsibility for your tasks and can drive your own work forward. You are confident and communicative, easily building relationships and are used to supporting and training managers and employees. Furthermore, you are positive, organized, and ensure that deadlines are met and routines are followed.
About the position
Employment type: Consulting assignment for 1 year with good opportunities for extension or permanent employment with BSH.
Desired start: Immediately, considering any notice period.
Location: At BSH's office on Svetsarvägen in Solna.
Working hours: Office hours, Monday – Thursday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Fridays 8:00 AM - 3:15 PM with the possibility of flexibility and working from home two days a week.
Some travel may occur in the position.
