Together with one of our largest clients in the energy sector, we are now looking for radiation physicists who want to take the next step in their careers and help solve concrete challenges related to radiation safety and sustainable management of radioactive materials.

We are looking for someone who knows their radiation physics and enjoys solving tricky technical challenges. This is to work on assignments related to decommissioning and nuclear power. An exciting role where you are a key player in ensuring a safe and efficient clearance process. More concretely, the role involves:

• Conducting radiological surveys and analyses to ensure the safe handling of radioactive materials.

• Clearing, reviewing, and approving clearance cases as well as making decisions for external treatment and clearance of materials.

• Developing and implementing measurement methods for activity determination of waste.

• Participating in risk assessments and designing radiation protection measures.

• Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to meet regulatory requirements and safety standards.

The assignment is initially located in southern Sweden.

Who are you?

• Master's degree in engineering physics, radiation physics, nuclear physics, or trained hospital physicist.

• Experience working with radiation safety and radiation protection.

• You are an analyst to your fingertips.

It is a plus if you have experience with nuclear facilities and knowledge of national and international regulations, but it is not a requirement.
