We are looking for one or more specialists in water conservation and restoration for an assignment within municipal community building. The focus is on deepening and designing water conservation measures in Risebergabäcken – an important part of the green structure – with the ambition to strengthen recreational values, improve water quality, and reduce the risk of flooding and erosion.

The assignment includes the design and planning of measures along a defined stretch and must be carried out with consideration to the catchment area, hydraulics, feasibility, ground heights, accessibility, and existing natural values. The work also needs to be coordinated with ongoing planning materials related to stormwater and heavy rainfall investigations.

• Design and plan water conservation measures, such as slope grading and/or two-step ditches.
• Analyze and integrate conditions related to the catchment area and the stream's hydraulics.
• Develop proposals that are feasible and adapted to ground heights, accessibility, and existing natural values.
• Consider relevant planning conditions, including stormwater and heavy rainfall investigations.
• Describe what is required to enable the measures in relation to land drainage companies and applicable permits.
• Participate in kick-off meetings and follow-up meetings as needed.
• Compile delivery in report form and present the proposal to relevant officials.

• Expertise in water conservation and restoration.
• Experience in one or more of the following areas: water ecology, water planning, land planning, water supply.
• Ability to produce a report delivery that clearly describes the solution with drawings, measurements, illustrations, and descriptive text.
• Ability to deliver base files for drawings and illustrations as part of the final delivery.

• Experience with assignments that consider natural values and permit-related issues related to water activities.
• Experience working in environments where water conservation measures are coordinated with stormwater and heavy rainfall investigations.
