JOB DESCRIPTION

We are now looking for a senior controller for an important and development-oriented assignment at Växjö municipality's finance department! We are looking for someone who has the ability to develop operations and coordinate various functions and processes. You will be employed at Växjö municipal group's central finance function, which consists of about 85 employees. In the team, there are many colleagues with various areas of expertise. You will primarily work with Vöfab, which is Växjö municipality's property company. You will report indirectly to the CEO of the company and be part of the company's management team, where you actively contribute and enable Vöfab to achieve its set goals. Vöfab is in the midst of a transformation regarding governance and management, where the next step involves adapting the company's core operations to a modern property organization by implementing the right working methods, tools, and routines.

As a senior controller, you hold a key position where you are expected to further develop financial management in Vöfab. You will also have an important coordinating role. You are responsible for closing accounts, forecasts, cash flow, liquidity planning, loans, annual reports, and other financial reporting. You will support the various functions within Vöfab in their work with analyses and follow-ups.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a university degree in economics and several years of experience in qualified work with economic and operational management. Your knowledge of system usage, such as financial and business systems and decision support systems, is good. It is an advantage if you have experience in qualified financial work within a property management company.

You need to be self-driven and enjoy working in a changing environment. You will conduct both indirect and direct leadership. It is important that you are proactive, have a holistic view, and work from a problem-solving approach. You are a good communicator who can describe economics and financial relationships in an educational way and have a good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish. We also value that you have the courage to challenge and test ideas.
