The Labor Market Unit (AME) is an organization that offers a variety of opportunities. Currently, the unit has 10 employees with different responsibilities such as coordinators, team leaders, and coordinators. Our main purpose is to support individuals who are outside the labor market for various reasons towards self-sufficiency, education, or work.

Organizationally, AME and financial assistance belong to the same section, and there is close collaboration between these services regarding the cases referred to AME via financial assistance.

In 2026, the municipality will have an expanded responsibility to organize full-time activities for individuals receiving financial support. The responsibility for coordinating these activities will be with AME. The activities offered will be tailored to each person's needs.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a coordinator at the Labor Market Unit, you will be part of a team where you:

  • Contribute to participants achieving progress towards self-sufficiency, e.g., through internships, education, counseling, and supportive activities.
  • Investigate the individual's conditions and needs and work with motivational conversations, guidance in labor market issues, and support in applications, etc.
  • Plan and follow up on interventions together with the participant to promote long-term and sustainable planning.
  • Support individuals in contact with other authorities, healthcare, and municipal services based on the participant's needs.
  • Collaborate with actors in healthcare, the Employment Service, the Social Insurance Agency, and municipal services.
  • Actively contribute to the development of interventions by participating in joint method and service development.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A university degree in behavioral science/social work or another relevant degree is required.
  • Previous work experience in the field is an advantage.
  • A valid driver's license (B) is required.
