Who are we?

Kyrkskolan is a F-6 school located in the Eneby area with approximately 340 students and 45 staff members. The school has two parallel classes and three after-school care departments. We have a wonderful outdoor environment with large areas for play and teaching, as well as proximity to nature.

We have a highly competent staff group consisting of preschool teachers, teachers, and primary school teachers who work in the classes. Together, we work to give all students the opportunity to develop based on their individual circumstances.

Your Responsibilities

As a textile craft teacher with us, you will teach textile craft to students in grades 3-6. You will plan and conduct inspiring and educational lessons, guiding our students in developing their practical and creative skills.

We would like you to have ideas on how the subject can be developed. Additional qualifications in other subjects are also of interest.

The role involves ensuring that students receive the best possible development, both academically and socially. You will coach and motivate students to achieve their goals.

Furthermore, you will assess knowledge development, document progress, and assign grades. You will also actively participate in the school's development.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with a teaching license qualified to teach textile craft. We see that you have experience in teaching craft. If you also have subject qualifications in art, there is an opportunity for a combined position, and the size of the position can be discussed.

As a person, you are creative and committed to creating a safe and inspiring learning environment. You have strong pedagogical skills, adapting your teaching to meet each student's needs and circumstances.

You build positive relationships with both students and guardians and contribute to a positive work climate among your colleagues.

You are skilled at planning the steps and resources required to drive the teaching. Since we work with children and youth, we also expect you to be flexible with changes that may arise during the workday.

The position requires you to have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
