Prolympia is Sweden's leading sports school at the primary school level, operating from Gothenburg in the south to Umeå in the north. In August 2020, we moved to our new premises located in the area near SMHI, close to the sports hub Himmelstalund. We are pleased to offer a state-of-the-art school!

Job Responsibilities and Qualifications

We are looking for someone qualified to teach grades 4-6 in mathematics and science, with mentorship included in the role. As a teacher, you are responsible for conducting lessons along with planning and assessment for students in grades 4-6. You actively work to stimulate all students to develop their knowledge in your subjects and have the ability to adapt teaching based on students' prior knowledge and needs.

As a teacher at Prolympia, you have an inclusive approach and actively work with student influence, pedagogical planning, and formative assessment. The school has established digital technology that you are expected to use in your daily work. In your teaching role, you also contribute to the daily functioning for students, so tasks such as pedagogical lunch, break coaching, and homework help are part of the job. Mentorship is included in the role.

Additional Information

We are looking for someone with a degree from a teacher education program with teaching certification and qualification to teach students in grades 4-6. A background check for work in schools and preschools is required for employment. We apply a vacation service. Possible earlier start may be relevant based on agreement.
