Move & Walk Assistans is now looking for a driven, cheerful, and committed personal assistant for a 30-year-old woman with mobility impairments.

She lives with her family on a farm with animals in beautiful Mem, by the first lock on the Göta Canal, with both the sea and nature right at her doorstep. Mem is located about 20 km from Norrköping and 12 km from Söderköping.


About the Position

As a personal assistant, you are an important support in the client's daily life. The workplace is wherever the client is, which may involve working at home, on outings, during activities, or at the workplace. The client leads a very active life, and we are therefore looking for someone who appreciates variety and a fast pace.

A central part of the job is regular training according to conductive pedagogy, focusing on motor skills and communication, which is of great importance for the client's health and development.


We are looking for someone who
    •    is smoke-free
    •    has good physical fitness, is agile, and can manage transfers and training
    •    is empathetic and has a good sense of touch
    •    is engaged, you need to be active and enjoy when things happen, you are cheerful and positive.

    •    thrives in an active environment and enjoys sharing the client's interests such as
baking, animals, books, shopping, concerts, and swimming
    •    is not allergic to fur (the family has a dog, cat, and rabbits)
    •    has a driver's license and access to a car, as the workplace is located outside the urban area and there are no public transport connections

Employment Type
    •    Working hours are scheduled for evenings and weekends now during the spring and day/evening and weekends during the summer
    •    Employment rate: 50–75 %
    •    We are also looking for substitutes/on-call staff who can step in during illness and absences starting now in the spring but also someone who wants to work in the summer
