Social Administration

The Social Administration is responsible for interventions, support, and services to individuals and families in the municipality. Our operations are primarily governed by the Social Services Act, the LSS Act, and the Health and Medical Services Act, and must implement interventions regulated by these laws. All operations are permeated by the individual at the center to meet the individual's needs. The mission entails a strong customer focus and service spirit.

Safe Return Team

The Safe Return Team in Motala municipality consists of nursing assistants, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, nurses, and social workers. The team works on behalf of social workers to investigate the care and rehabilitation needs of individuals. Safe Return is a flexible and intensive intervention that takes place in the individual's home for a maximum of two weeks.

The Safe Return Team operates from the municipal health and medical care facilities but is organizationally part of the authority where the unit manager for the social workers in elderly care is ultimately responsible.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As the team leader for the Safe Return Team, you will lead and distribute the work, where your main responsibility in the team is the nursing assistants. The team's mission is to finalize investigation materials for social workers who make decisions about future support and assistance in the individual's home. In your job responsibilities, you will also supervise two nursing assistants who primarily work with welfare technology.

As a team leader, your responsibility is to lead and distribute the work within the team based on the current cases, schedule planning, and allocate resource time. The mission includes personnel and operational responsibility, while the overall budget responsibility falls to your manager. It is the team leader's task to develop the operations and work with quality assurance. A central part of the work is collaboration with other professionals and operations both within and outside the municipality, such as Region Östergötland.

Your job responsibilities also include various administrative tasks, i.e., follow-ups, investigations, and decisions according to the Social Services Act. As the operations are governed by the number of ongoing cases, the workload fluctuates over time and can change rapidly.

QUALIFICATIONS

You have a university degree as a social worker or another education that the employer deems equivalent. It is desirable that you have documented experience in leadership roles within operations for the elderly and persons with disabilities. Since the mission involves administration according to the Social Services Act, you should have experience in exercising authority.

You are flexible and driven by changing work tasks. Collaboration and communication are given parts of the work for you. As a leader, we want you to be confident and contribute with a positive attitude that inspires your colleagues.

You are independent and used to planning your days yourself, and you quickly find solutions to arising problems. We want you to be proactive in quality work and have the ability to engage your colleagues when changes occur. Working with many different professions and a broad target group appeals to you. You can communicate well in spoken and written Swedish.

A driver's license (B) is a requirement.
