Åtvidaberg Municipality is now seeking youth guides for an exciting coordinator role for SSPF (school, social services, police, and leisure) – a collaboration model aimed at providing young people with the best possible support and conditions for a safe and positive future.

Your responsibilities

As a youth guide with us, you play a key role in supporting and guiding young people in the municipality. You work closely with the SSPF team and coordinate efforts that promote safety and development for young people. Through collaboration with schools, social services, police, and youth activities, you will be an important part of the preventive work.

In your role, you will be responsible for, among other things:

• Creating and maintaining trusting relationships with children and young people aged approximately 10 to 19 years
• Working proactively in public spaces, in school environments, at youth and leisure activities, and during special risk weekends.
• Collaborating closely with area police and other local actors
• Being a driving force in the municipality's SSPF work
• Being a contact link between schools, social services, police, and leisure
• Mapping needs, risks, and trends among children and young people
• Responsible for operational coordination within SSPF on behalf of several administrations
• Responsible for initiating and following up on collaborative efforts

Who we are looking for

We are looking for someone who is a trained social worker, behavioral scientist, or has other education that the employer finds suitable. You have a good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish. A B driver's license is a requirement to carry out proactive work throughout the municipality.

We would also like you to have further education in crime prevention work, SSPF, ANDTS, parental support, or related areas relevant to early and coordinated efforts. It is also desirable if you have knowledge of applicable legislation regarding confidentiality, duty of silence, and information sharing in collaboration between schools, social services, police, and leisure.

To succeed in the role, we see that you find it easy to build relationships where you create trust with young people and guardians. You have good collaboration skills, work in a structured manner, and take your own initiatives.

About the employment

The position is a fixed-term full-time employment. Working hours are scheduled for days, evenings, and weekends.
