We are looking for a technically oriented Test Automation Engineer (SDET) for a government-related environment with web-based systems and Pega-based solutions. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated testing solutions where reusable test components and automated regression are a natural part of the continuous delivery. The assignment has a clear focus on test code, structure, and long-term maintainability.

• Design and develop automated tests and reusable test components for web-based systems and Pega-based flows
• Build and maintain automated regression to support continuous delivery
• Formulate and document test cases
• Verify requirements in close collaboration with business analysts and developers
• Conduct integration tests in microservices architecture with REST APIs
• Perform functional testing and independently plan, execute, and report test results

• Competence level 4 (9-12 years)
• At least 5 years of documented full-time work experience in testing web-based systems
• At least 5 years of work experience in formulating and documenting test cases
• At least 5 years of work experience in requirement verification in close collaboration with business analysts and developers
• At least 5 years of work experience in integration testing in microservices architecture with REST APIs
• At least 5 years of work experience in functional testing
• At least 5 years of work experience in regression testing
• Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written

• Experience in designing and developing test automation solutions that protect shared and reusable Pega flows, including architecture for structured and long-term maintainable regression testing
• Experience in automated verification in regulated operations with requirements for legal security, traceability, and follow-up, as well as familiarity with documentation
• Experience in developing test automation solutions in Playwright, preferably with structured test code and integration with other subsystems
• Experience with test management tools such as Jira/Xray or similar
• Experience in agile development teams, such as Scrum or SAFe
