About the Company

Länsförsäkringar Alarm Center was established by Länsförsäkringar in the spring of 2008 as a natural step in an already established security concept. With modern alarm services, we create a good and secure protection against burglary and fire.

Together with Länsförsäkringar, we can offer comprehensive solutions that are unique in our industry - from saving, insuring, lending, and protecting to real estate brokerage.

Your Role

Are you a student looking to summer job in 2026? Are you also looking for a job that you can continue with, if needed, even after the summer? Then this role is perfect for you!

In the role of Alarm Operator, you will handle incoming alarms from private and corporate customers or work with claims support for all Länsförsäkringar customers. This involves fire, burglary, and operational alarms where you assess the situation and then deploy the right assistance resources. For us, the customer is at the center, and one of our most important goals is to create satisfied and secure customers who increase their engagement within Länsförsäkringar's entire product range. You will work with both incoming and outgoing calls, as well as follow up on previous cases. You will also handle first-line support regarding our products and services.

The shifts can be on weekdays and weekends. You will work nights between 6 PM and 6 AM, alternating weeks where you work 5 nights one week and 2 nights the other week. For this role, training will start in May and then be full-time during the summer.

For this assignment, you will be a consultant through Clevry and work at Älvsborgs Alarm Center in Borås.

Start: You will begin with training as soon as possible after signing the contract - but no later than week 23. After that, you will start your summer job in week 26.

Office: Borås

Scope: Full-time during the summer of 2026, between weeks 26-32 - thereafter as needed/extra from week 33. Shifts can be on weekdays and weekends.

Main Responsibilities

  • Conduct work according to the governing documents, processes, and work instructions that are prescribed.
  • Continuously document customer cases and agreements in the organization's system support.
  • Take part in and use the information presented at regular internal meetings, intranet, and other information channels.
  • Check the installers' work during installation.
  • Provide first-line support to customers on the alarm center's services and products and report these further to second-line support when the case is not resolved.
  • Be an advisor when other functions or employees seek competence support.
  • Participate in project work at both departmental and company levels.

Your Profile

We see that you who are applying are available for full-time work during the summer of 2026 and can participate in training no later than week 23. You also need to enjoy working nights. We are looking for someone who wants to provide our customers with world-class security and, through your commitment, always strives to exceed customer expectations. We see it as a positive if you have experience in customer service via phone. It is also meritorious if you have worked in some form of security company and/or insurance company. We also want you to have good IT skills and the ability to express yourself well in both speech and writing. Since the customer works with security and safety in our customers' homes, you must have a clean record in the police criminal record to be approved for work in security companies.

As a person, you need to be action-oriented, have high social competence, and a strong sense of responsibility. We see that you who want to work with us are communicative and good at interpreting both written and spoken information and making decisions based on that so that our customer always feels secure and taken care of. You thrive in a fast-paced work environment and are able to take your own initiatives during your shift. You need to master Swedish in speech and writing and have good knowledge of English.
