About the positionThe position is part of ESS Procurement and reports directly to the Head of Procurement. It is a support function to ensure ESS Group's goals, visions, and future growth in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and other countries where ESS Group is expanding. The tasks may be in project form or ongoing work and will be assigned by the Head of Procurement.

You have previous experience in purchasing, supply chain, or finance, preferably in a controlling or analytical role
To be part of the service function ESS Procurement, with a clear main mission to support and develop the purchasing business within ESS Group.
Control and optimize purchases at ESS Group across the entire hotel and F&B business.
Drive the work with menu engineering to optimize the units' key figures.
Be the main contact person regarding ESS Group's purchasing system
Support in procurement and contract writing.
Be involved in projects regarding new or changes to existing units.
Follow up existing contracts against volumes and bonuses.
Provide reports for the units.
At least 2 years of experience in purchasing, preferably from hotels, restaurants, or similar
Structured and used to working with large data sets
Good communication skills in Swedish and English
Familiarity with systems and BI tools, such as Power-BI, Qvanti
Experience working with Menu Engineering
Sharp analytical skills and confidence in data-driven decisions
Ability to work structured, independently, and with multiple parallel processes
Strong communication skills and high business understanding
A drive to achieve high-set goals – and not give up until you reach them
