About the role
As a Diagnostic Technician with us, you will have a developing role where your technical knowledge is at the center. In close collaboration with knowledgeable colleagues, you will work with diagnosis, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of passenger cars according to the high standards of the authorized workshop. You will work with the latest technology and always have access to leading diagnostic tools and relevant training.
Responsibilities – Focus on diagnosis and troubleshooting of passenger cars
Perform diagnosis and advanced troubleshooting on passenger cars and vans
Address technical faults, both electrical, electronic, and mechanical
Perform service and repairs according to manufacturer guidelines
Use diagnostic equipment and update software, preferably Elsa.
Document actions in the workshop's data system
Contribute to workplace safety and technical development within the team
Ensure quality and safety in every work step
Requirements
Automotive education at the high school level or equivalent competence
Practical experience in troubleshooting and repairing modern passenger cars
Good knowledge of electrical systems, electronics, and diagnostic systems in vehicles
Driving license B (manual transmission)
Good communication skills in Swedish, both spoken and written
Ability to work independently and take responsibility for tasks
Meritorious – not required
Experience from an authorized workshop or specialist role in automotive technology
Competence in electrified vehicles and modern vehicle diagnostics
Certifications and further training in vehicle diagnostics
Personal qualities of the applicant
