About the Job
We are now looking for a development leader in Safety for the Social Administration Nordost.
As a development leader in Safety, you will work to increase the safety of residents in the Nordost urban area. Together with colleagues, you will be responsible for coordinating local area development where multiple stakeholders collaborate in crime prevention and safety enhancement efforts. Your role is to drive and follow up on processes. Within the framework of the collaboration model Safe in Gothenburg, we develop local situational reports, conduct cause analyses, and initiate measures together with other actors operating in the area.
The work is flexible and requires you to keep many processes running simultaneously. The job involves a strong focus on collaboration with other community actors.
The position is a temporary contract from 2026-05-01 to 2027-03-31, with the possibility of extension.
Qualifications
Applicants should have relevant academic education such as criminology, social work, sociology, or equivalent qualifications as assessed by the employer. Knowledge of crime prevention work is required. Experience in similar work within public administration and being multilingual are advantageous.
It is also beneficial to have good local knowledge of the Nordost urban area.
We are looking for someone who is action-oriented, results-driven, and enjoys collaborating with others. You have strong communication skills, can create engagement, and are accustomed to meeting groups in the role of coordinator and meeting leader. Furthermore, you are structured and analytical.

The Social Administration Nordost works to provide residents in northeastern Gothenburg with equivalent and effective welfare, enabling them to live safe and independent lives. The administration provides support to individuals and families according to the Social Services Act. We also offer activities and meeting places that can provide children and youth with meaningful leisure time.
