Within the unit for investigation and protection, we work in qualified reception, investigation, and follow-up work according to current legislation. BBiC (children's needs in focus) and Signs of Safety permeate all our work, as we explore networks and their own solutions together with families, always with the child's safety and best interests as the starting point. We drive processes forward by being structured, curious, innovative, and brave.

The unit for investigation and protection consists of a reception, two investigation groups, a high-intensity investigation group, and the social services' team for violence in close relationships. The area of activity also includes the unit for preventive support and the unit for family support and foster homes, which enables close cooperation and the right help at the right time.

Your Mission

You primarily work within the framework of preliminary assessment by receiving applications and reports concerning children and young people aged 0-20 years and writing statements at the request of other authorities. You are an important part of the first contact for children, young people, families, concerned citizens, and professionals. You assist families in acute situations. You play a crucial role in collaboration with preschools, schools, police, and healthcare. In the reception, we collaborate with each other in most things, and we are looking for a colleague who also enjoys working together. We laugh a lot and place great importance on helping each other when needed.

Requirements for the Position

Requirements

  • You have a degree in social work (210 credits)
  • Driver's license B
  • Experience in investigative work/exercising authority for children and young people

Meritorious

  • Experience in reception assignments for children and young people
  • Training in BBiC, Signs of Safety, Ester, Savry, systems theory, MI, ViNR, or honor-related violence and threats

To obtain employment, a criminal record extract from the Police must be presented.

About Härryda Municipality

Härryda is a municipality that dares! Our municipality is small enough to create close and sustainable cooperation with other professionals and large enough to make wise investments where needed. Our premises are located in Härryda municipal office, in Mölnlycke center, where it is close to grocery stores, restaurants, public transport (20 minutes to central Gothenburg), and free parking.
