Within the unit for investigation and protection, we work with qualified reception, investigation, and follow-up work according to applicable legislation. The unit for investigation and protection consists of a reception, two investigation groups, a high-intensity investigation group, and the social services' domestic violence team. The area of operation also includes the unit for preventive support and the unit for family support and foster homes, which enables close collaboration and the right help at the right time.

Your Mission

In your role as an investigative social worker, you will meet children, youth, and families at the social office and in various environments where children have their daily lives. You will use the BBiC method to map and analyze the child's needs and the Signs of Safety approach to find sustainable solutions to challenging situations together with the family and network. You will have a clear child perspective in everything you do.

You will follow up and evaluate decided interventions. You will have close collaboration with colleagues within the municipality and other partners such as schools. You will participate and actively contribute to the development of the organization.

Requirements for the Position

Requirements:

• You have a degree in social work (210 credits)
• Driver's license B
• Experience in investigative work/authority exercise for children and youth

Meritorious:

• Training in BBiC, Signs of Safety, Ester, Savry, systems theory, MI, ViNR, or honor-related violence and threats
• Experience in social work with children and youth

To obtain employment, a police record extract must be presented.
