JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a school counselor/social pedagogue/behavioral scientist at Torpskolan, you are passionate about the well-being, health, and development of children and adolescents. Your responsibilities primarily include promoting and preventive student health work in close contact with students, guardians, educators, principals, and other professionals within the student health team, as well as external actors that the school collaborates with. The tasks are diverse and include, for example, conversations with students, both individually and in groups, and guidance for teachers and other professional groups on psychosocial issues.

QUALIFICATIONS

You who are applying have a degree in social work or another equivalent education, and preferably experience working in schools. It is important that you are a secure and independent person who embodies the values that the school is based on. You have a strong commitment to working with youth. You possess good communication skills and the ability to create and maintain trusting relationships with everyone you meet in your professional role. You are skilled at both collaborating and working independently and thrive in an environment that places high demands on responsibility, flexibility, decisiveness, and service. You have a positive attitude and the ability to analyze and reframe discussions and problems to find development opportunities in the changing challenges of the organization. You are driven and want to develop both yourself and the organization you work in.
