Personal Assistant Wanted

Hello!

I am a cheerful 50-year-old man living in the central parts of lovely Södermalm. I have a congenital CP disability which means I live my life with assistance around the clock. I am now looking for a personal assistant to join my team. Are you responsible, attentive, patient, and enjoy social settings? Then take the chance to apply!

I need support in all parts of my daily life, so it is important that you have a high degree of attentiveness to my wishes and needs. My life is filled with social interactions. During the day, I work at a Day Activity Center where you, as my assistant, will support me. In the evenings and on weekends, I meet friends, swim, and enjoy being out in the community!

Exercise is important to me, and something I enjoy. If you are an active and initiative-taking person, you possess the qualities I am looking for in a new assistant. I communicate using visual aids and my own signs; if you have experience with that, it is a plus, but not a requirement.

As my assistant, you need to be patient and willing to learn how to communicate with me. Speaking and writing Swedish fluently is important for us to understand each other, which is also crucial when you support me in my network of contacts. Experience with PEG and autism is also advantageous for you to understand central aspects of my life.

Positions:

Permanent position of about 24.5 hours/week (approx. 61.25%) day, evening, night, and weekend. Shifts are distributed over a 6-week schedule.

Working Hours:

3:30 PM - 10:30 PM
8:00 AM - 3:30 PM
10:15 PM - 8:15 AM
