Are you a student with an interest in social issues, service, and communication? SKR is now looking for a student assistant with experience in customer service for our contact center. With us, you will work part-time providing qualified service to our members while contributing to the development of Swedish welfare.

We are now looking for student assistants to work an average of about 20 percent per week. During certain periods, you may be offered the opportunity to work more hours. The employment is a temporary position valid for up to one year, starting by agreement.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The contact center serves as the first point of contact for SKR. The mission is to provide members, that is, elected representatives and officials in municipalities and regions, with equal and good service and to contribute to a more efficient internal operation.

As a student assistant, you will work as an administrator with varied tasks. The contact center provides service via phone, email, and contact forms on skr.se. You engage with all members and stakeholders with commitment and good service, always striving to find solutions.

The work involves responding to inquiries, providing service, and forwarding cases as needed. The contact center handles inquiries across all of SKR's operations. Most of those who contact us are members, but we also receive inquiries from other actors, such as authorities, companies, and private individuals. You will also provide support to members using SKR's digital services, systems, and web platforms. With the help of our knowledge database, you assist them in finding the right information and guidance.

Some cases you will handle independently. Others you will solve together with colleagues or forward to experts within the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who wants to make a difference in an important role where you meet and help people every day.

• You are studying an academic program in a relevant field and have at least one year left of your studies
• You have previously worked in a contact center, customer service, or support
• You are service-oriented and have an easy time building good relationships
• You are familiar with digital work methods and use various systems and tools effortlessly
• You express yourself clearly and professionally in Swedish, both spoken and written

You have a calm and positive demeanor, are attentive, and solution-oriented.

You thrive on quickly absorbing new information to provide the best possible support and service.

Swedish Municipalities and Regions (SKR) is a membership and employer organization for Sweden's municipalities and regions. Through knowledge, advice, and service to our members, we strengthen them in their mission to develop welfare for all residents. We are a meeting place for municipalities and regions, and together we develop democracy and welfare based on the needs of residents across the country. We influence the government, parliament, and the EU by providing proposals on how we best develop democracy and welfare.

SKR has about 500 employees, and the office is located at Slussen in Stockholm. As an employee at SKR, you have the flexibility to work partly in the office and partly from another location, based on the needs of the organization.
