At Forenede Care, we are looking for you who want to work as a care assistant and are available to work the whole or part of the summer at our cozy Vaxholm nursing home!

As a care assistant with us at Forenede Care, you will provide good care, service, and support to our residents.

Forenede Care Vaxholm nursing home consists of three properties with a total of 83 apartments distributed across seven units. Five units are intended for individuals with cognitive impairments.

The facility is located close to green areas and has good transportation links. It takes about 40 minutes by bus from central Stockholm, and about an hour by Vaxholm boat.

In the role of care assistant with us, you will perform care and support based on the client's wishes, and in accordance with applicable assistance decisions with a strong focus on quality. This includes performing personal hygiene, assisting with meal preparation and serving, responding to safety alarms, and social interaction. Social interaction may include conversations, games, bike rides, music activities, or similar. You will also perform delegated tasks from licensed staff in the form of medication administration and training.

As a summer substitute with us, you have good chances of extending your position.

Job Description

We are currently looking for several part-time colleagues for summer substitutes with varying degrees of employment starting in May-June.

To be considered for the position, you need to:

• Have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form

• Provide a diploma for completed online training Demens ABC and Demens ABC Plus

We consider it an advantage if you have previous experience in elderly care and dementia care. Substitutes who wish to work the entire summer schedule will be prioritized.
