Do you want to work at a well-functioning and fully staffed health center where both patients and staff value high quality and continuity? Do you enjoy giving that little extra to your patients while maintaining a high pace when needed? We currently need a substitute for approximately 1.5 years.

Brief Description of the Company:

We are a medium-sized health center with 7000 patients that has been around since 2014. The health center is owned and operated by some of the doctors, and we work on behalf of Region Stockholm within the Primary Care Choice program. Some of our key principles are sustainability, quality, and continuity, which we believe are important for both patient care and our own work environment. We want those who work with us to enjoy their work and stay. Today we have 20 permanent employees, including 7 specialist doctors, 5 district nurses, 4 nursing assistants, 2 psychologists, one psychotherapist, and a rehabilitation coordinator. We have our own home care lab for our listed patients.

Job Responsibilities:

The responsibilities of a district nurse at Vårdcentralen Hökarängen include home care within your own geographical area, outpatient work, telephone advice, and booking for everyone at the health center. We also have district nurse-led clinics for diabetes, COPD/asthma, sleep, and obesity.

It is important for us that all our district nurses feel involved and can take responsibility for all types of nursing tasks at the health center. We have a good and close collaboration and strong cohesion where everyone is very engaged in the common goals. You need to feel comfortable both giving and receiving help when necessary for the operation to function optimally. In our dynamic workgroup, helpfulness and flexibility are high, and we see continuing education as a natural part of the work.

Qualifications:

EDUCATION: We prefer that you are a district nurse, but this is not a requirement. Further education in Asthma/COPD/Spirometry is an advantage.

PERSONAL: It is extremely important that you enjoy working both independently and in a team, and that you want to be active in both the nursing team and the larger workgroup that includes all of us at the health center. It is also valuable that you possess a maturity and a natural calmness that allows you to work in a structured manner even in a rapidly changing work situation.

Employment Conditions

Start Date: By agreement

Working Hours/Duration: Full-time. 1.5-year substitute position, extension/permanent position may be possible.
