We are looking for a district nurse or registered nurse for our clinic located in the heart of Jordbro center.

For us, a pleasant reception and good accessibility are a given. If you are committed and motivated to provide our approximately 7200 registered patients with the best possible care and treatment, you are welcome to join us! If you are also competent in Asthma and COPD as well as outpatient work, you are more than interesting.

Job Description

The work as a district nurse/registered nurse at our health center includes planned and unplanned visits to our patients as well as telephone counseling, but work within our home healthcare is the main part of the job (about 75%). We work in a wonderful team with doctors, district nurses, registered nurses, and nursing assistants to create good continuity for our patients. Collaboration with other healthcare providers such as the municipality, relatives, and inpatient care is important to us and is part of our daily work. We use the Take Care journal system.

Qualifications

  • We are looking for you who are a District Nurse or a licensed Registered Nurse.
  • Swedish language skills equivalent to C1 are required.
  • Experience in primary care and/or home healthcare is considered an advantage.
  • Competence in Diabetes, Asthma, and COPD is considered an advantage.

Employment Conditions

Employment type: Permanent position. A probationary period may apply. Full-time, 40 hours/week, Monday to Friday. We apply flexible working hours. Start date according to agreement.

Additional Information:

For patient-related work within the Stockholm County healthcare area:

  • background checks will be applied before the decision on employment according to SLSO's overarching guidelines for background checks during employment.
  • employees who will have patient contact must undergo a pre-employment examination, according to applicable directives, which is done through occupational health services before employment.
  • in addition to Swedish professional certification, good knowledge of the Swedish language equivalent to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) is required. The same requirements are guiding for non-licensed personnel with patient contact.
