Botvids Health Center is a small, privately owned health center that has a care agreement with Region Stockholm. The health center is located in Hallunda center and opened in May 2023 by a group of specialist doctors and psychologists with many years of experience working in Hallunda. We know the area and its population well and place great importance on good service, continuity, and accessibility. Our staff speaks several different languages in addition to Swedish, such as Arabic, Turkish, Syriac, Cantonese, Mandarin, Polish, Finnish, Sorani, Pashto, Dari, and English. The operation is appreciated by the patients, which is reflected in the excellent results in the National Patient Survey. We are steadily increasing the number of registered patients and currently have over 5300 registered patients, which is why we now want to strengthen our team with an additional specialist doctor in general medicine.

About the position:

The role largely involves the usual tasks of a general practitioner, where you have a great opportunity to influence processes and routines. A large proportion of our registered patients are multi-sick, which places demands on the doctors' medical competence. We have an open climate and round patients between professional groups daily to increase the conditions for being able to use our resources in the best way. In the care of acutely ill patients, nurses and doctors work in teams, where the nurse makes an initial assessment and consults the on-call doctor if necessary. We have a well-functioning psychosocial team, with good accessibility to assessment and treatment of our patients, including more specialized treatment such as EMDR therapy for PTSD. In addition, we have expanded the assignment for mental health for children and adolescents, staffed by child psychologists and psychotherapists with many years of experience. We are now in an exciting development phase, so your ideas and insights will be of great importance. You will be part of a team consisting of specialist doctors in general medicine, BT/ST doctors, nurses, district nurses, nursing assistants, psychologists, psychotherapists, administrators, and medical secretaries.

Minimum requirements to apply for the position with us:

Specialist doctor in general medicine.

Be registered in Sweden and have good knowledge of Swedish and English both in writing and speaking.

Ability to collaborate with other professional groups in a health center and very good social skills.

The health center is open on weekdays from 7 AM to 6 PM, which means that you will have varying working hours where you sometimes open at 7 AM and sometimes close at 6 PM.
