Your mission

As a dentist with us, you will be offered a central role in our work to provide health-promoting and preventive dental care for all Stockholmers. You are the team's specialist in oral diagnostics and carry out the long-term comprehensive assessment. Folktandvården Stockholm provides patient-safe care with high quality and good service, which will be central parts of your work. You will perform simpler examinations to more advanced treatments.

The clinic in Väsby consists of nine treatment rooms and a team of 18 employees, where dentists, dental nurses, and dental hygienists work in a positive and collaborative climate where knowledge exchange is a natural part of everyday life. We offer a temporary position for a licensed dentist starting by agreement, where you meet patients of all ages and work broadly within general dentistry at a modern and well-functioning clinic. The clinic is centrally located at Väsby Centrum, close to commuter train connections from both Uppsala and Stockholm, making the workplace easily accessible. Here you will have good opportunities to develop in a stimulating environment with engaged colleagues and a patient focus characterized by professionalism, precision, and empathy.

What you need to succeed

We are looking for licensed dentists, preferably with good experience and preferably in all areas of general dentistry. For you, quality dental care is a given, as is a professional approach to both customers and colleagues. You build trust and maintain a high level of service. You have excellent communication skills in the Swedish language, both spoken and written. As a person, you are positive even in challenging situations and strive to develop effective solutions. We highly value your personal qualities.

Employment

Welcome with your application by March 15, 2026. The position is an 11-month temporary full-time position, starting in May or by agreement. Selection is ongoing, and the first step in the recruitment process is a personality test and a problem-solving test. Please attach your CV and a copy of your license to practice in your application. If you are or have been employed with us before, we will take references from your clinic manager.

Before the interview, you need to be able to prove your citizenship. If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, EEA, or Switzerland, you must be able to present a valid work permit or documentation showing that you are exempt from the requirement. To be considered for employment, a successful pre-employment health examination is also required.
