Odinslund specializes in dementia and somatics and consists of 46 apartments. The apartments are distributed across 6 living departments. The residence is beautifully located in the middle of Djursholms square and has good communications from Mörby Centrum. The residence is close to beautiful walking paths along the water and has large terraces.

The operation is characterized by good competence within the various professional categories. All staff work from a rehabilitation/enabling approach where the goal is to see each resident as an individual and take into account their physical, mental, social, and spiritual needs. Our aim is to provide good individualized care and stimulation, with competent staff who take into account interests and needs.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a nurse with us, you will be the responsible nurse for approximately 13 residents and you will work closely with your nursing colleagues. You will work cross-professionally with doctors, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and nursing staff. In your role, you will lead health and medical care efforts in nursing work and have close cooperation with our medical organization. You will stay updated within HSL and participate in the development of the organization within health care/nursing and care.

Your role includes regular tasks such as medication management, delegation, documentation, rounds, planned and acute assessments. You will work preventively within risk areas such as falls, pressure sores, malnutrition, and oral health.

As a nurse with us, you will be involved in driving improvement and change work with a focus on quality and care for people with dementia and other cognitive diseases.

We work with quality registers such as Senior Alert, BPSD, and the Palliative register. We have digital signing for HSL efforts and delegations through the signing system APPVA. HSL and SoL documentation is performed in Treserva, where deviations are also registered and followed up. We are connected to NPÖ.

Competence development is possible through our own competence model for nurses.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who:

• is a licensed nurse
• has at least 2 years of experience as a nurse
• has good IT and documentation skills
• has very good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing

It is an advantage if you have:

• experience working as a nurse in elderly care
• experience in dementia
• a relevant specialist education

As a nurse, you have a strong commitment to people and a positive outlook. You adapt your approach to the situation and show care for our patients. You convey calm and stability and can meet people in different situations in a professional manner. You work in a structured way and feel confident in prioritizing tasks and have the ability to make independent decisions. You should be able to be attentive to our patients' needs and have a good attitude. Furthermore, it is important that you are engaged in your work. You have good collaboration skills and can work both independently and in a group. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
