About us

Hedvigsgården is a dementia care home with 40 places distributed across five pavilions. In two of our pavilions, we offer care and support for Finnish speakers. The facility is certified according to the Silviahemmet care philosophy.

About the position

Our task is to provide our users with a meaningful, safe, and active everyday life. We work based on each user's individual needs. Your mission is to motivate, provide good care, and support the user in their daily life. The work includes being a contact person, which means you build a trusting relationship with users and their relatives.

You are also the link between users and other staff. You will establish implementation plans and maintain ongoing social documentation. You will administer medication after delegation from a nurse.

With us, you will work on a scheduled basis with shifts every other weekend.

Are you the one we are looking for?

We are looking for you who:

• Has completed education equivalent to the qualifications of a nursing assistant, or another education that we assess as equivalent
• Speaks fluent Finnish and can express yourself fluently in Swedish, both spoken and written

It is meritorious if you have:

• Experience in care work with people with dementia in elderly care
• Previous experience in documentation work, as it is an important part of the job
• Experience using a computer as a tool in your work

As a person, you are collaborative and solution-oriented, as you find it easy to work with others and handle and solve problems that arise. We also see that you have a strong customer focus, where you meet our users' individual needs in a service-oriented manner.
