School Nurse Wanted for Vittra Schools in Sollentuna
Vittra Schools, one of Sweden's leading independent school companies with 24 preschools and primary schools across the country. About the Position
We are now looking for a school nurse who wants to work at two of our Vittra schools in Sollentuna. The position is a total of 100% divided 60% at Vittra Sollentuna and 40% at Vittra Rösjötorp.
Vittra Sollentuna is centrally located in Sollentuna center with good transportation options such as buses and commuter trains. The school has approximately 230 students from preschool to grade 9.
Vittra Rösjötorp International is a bilingual school from preschool to grade 6 with about 130 students and is located by the scenic Rösjön in Sollentuna.
Job Responsibilities
As a school nurse, you are part of the school's student health team and work both independently and in close collaboration with the counselor, special educator, school psychologist, and school management. Your main tasks include:
- Conducting health visits and health talks according to the basic program for student health's medical interventions (EMI).
- Administering vaccinations according to the national vaccination program.
- Monitoring students' health, development, and school attendance.
- Contributing medical expertise to the preventive and health-promoting work of student health.
- Providing support to students, guardians, and school staff on issues related to health, lifestyle, and mental well-being.
- Collaborating with guardians, school staff, and external actors such as child and adolescent psychiatry, social services, and health centers.
Qualifications
You must be a licensed nurse with specialized training in health care for children and adolescents or open health care. Previous experience working with children and adolescents, as well as experience as a school nurse, is considered an advantage. The job requires good computer skills. Experience with ProRenata is a plus.
As a school nurse, you are an important and integrated part of the school's staff. You should be structured and meticulous, enjoy working in interdisciplinary teams, and be somewhat of an entrepreneur, someone who thrives on creating and taking initiatives. You have a strong drive for health-promoting work, to create a school environment that is positive, tolerant, and safe, and to continuously work together to build good relationships at all levels.

Employment Conditions
The position is a permanent position with a 6-month probationary period, at 100% (divided between two schools). Start date is according to agreement. The position is a holiday position with 5 weeks of vacation. Wellness grant of 5000 SEK per year. Collective agreement.
