Surbrunns Health Center is looking for a competent nurse/district nurse for home care for a permanent position!

One of our skilled nurses is taking on a new career direction, and we need to replace her with a competent and driven nurse/district nurse.

We are a pleasant and well-functioning health center with about 13,500 registered patients right in the city at Odenplan. We have a home care service with about 75 registered patients. We focus on our patients and a good working environment, and we work in nice premises located centrally at Odenplan. Job Responsibilities:

The work involves all tasks associated with nursing within the home care assignment. Caring for patients at home but also coordinating and administrative work to ensure the whole process works around the patient. In the home care team, nurses and nursing assistants collaborate and help plan and organize work with the patients.

The work requires broad competence and independence, but also good ability to collaborate, communicate, and be flexible. You need to be confident in your role as a nurse and be able to make independent assessments both planned and unplanned.

Qualifications:

Licensed nurse with authorization to practice within Swedish healthcare. Experience working in Swedish healthcare, primary care, and home care is an advantage. Specialist training as a district nurse with prescribing rights is an advantage. Good computer skills and experience with the Take Care and Life Care journal systems are advantageous.

Employment Type:

Permanent employment. Full-time 100%. Working hours Monday-Friday. A probationary period may be applied. Start date according to agreement.

  • background checks will be applied before hiring decisions according to SLSO's overarching guidelines for background checks during employment.
  • employees who will have patient contact must undergo a pre-employment medical examination, according to current directives, which is done through occupational health services before employment.
  • in addition to Swedish professional certification, good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) is required. The same requirements apply to non-licensed personnel with patient contact.
