Aspnässkolan is a F–6 school with about 265 students, located in the center of Jakobsberg with close access to commuter trains and good communication. As a smaller unit, we have short decision-making paths and close collaboration between school management, staff, students, and guardians. Here, every student is everyone's responsibility.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a substitute teacher with us, you will work both in the classroom and/or in the after-school center. You will replace regular teachers and/or after-school educators at short notice and contribute to creating a safe, structured, and stimulating environment for students throughout the school day.

The work involves following existing plans and instructions when available, but also being able to take your own initiatives and improvise when necessary. You will lead and organize activities, support students in their learning, and participate in recess and after-school activities. The role involves close collaboration with teachers, after-school educators, and other staff to ensure a good and cohesive operation. Documentation in the form of shorter reports to regular staff may occur.

QUALIFICATIONS

Requirements

• You are proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written.
• You are genuinely interested in working with children and students.
• You are flexible, responsible, and confident in taking your own initiatives.
• You can work at short notice.
• Great emphasis is placed on personal qualities.

Meritorious

• Pedagogical education at the high school or university level.
• Ongoing studies in teacher education or another pedagogical/social field.
• Experience of working in schools or after-school centers.
