We are now looking for a nursing assistant for the LAB at the health center in Gäddede.

Närvård Frostviken is a joint organization between Strömsund Municipality and Region Jämtland Härjedalen. By bringing together the health center, ambulance services, special housing, and home care under the same organization, a close and cohesive care for the population in Frostviken is created. The goal is to offer safe, high-quality, and cost-effective care with short decision-making paths and close collaboration between professions.

The operation is located in Gäddede where the health center, the special housing Levinsgården, and the sheltered housing Forsgården are gathered. Home care is based at Forsgården, which contributes to a natural collaboration between the operations.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The work includes standard tasks within primary care, primarily working in the lab.

The work includes:

• Handling the Cosmic program, bookings, and sample collections
• Assisting doctors during various examinations, for example, during gynecological examinations and rectoscopy
• Assisting in minor surgeries, changing dressings on minor wounds, taking ECGs, and local tests such as Strep A, CRP, and urine tests
• Responsible for laundry and supplies, including ordering supply materials and some administration
• Working in a team with the other staff at the reception in a varied and challenging job
• Having close contact with patients and treating them with respect and warmth
• Home visits to patients who have difficulty getting to the health center for sample collection

QUALIFICATIONS

You are a trained nursing assistant with experience and interest in primary care.

As a person, you have:

• Good collaboration skills
• Great commitment and are eager to take on new challenges
• The ability to prioritize among your tasks
• See opportunities to do the best for the patient

You have a B driver's license.
