Are you a nurse interested in working in a special accommodation in central Östersund?

We are now looking for a nurse for a resource position at our two special accommodations, Trossgränd and Solsången, located in Körfältet in central Östersund. You will have good opportunities for collegial support as both accommodations have a permanently placed nurse that you will work closely with.

We offer a temporary position until April 2027 with good opportunities for extension within the municipality.

Both Trossgränd and Solsången are smaller special accommodations with 21 residents at Solsången and 26 residents at Trossgränd. Both accommodations are well-functioning, and Trossgränd recently won the municipality's quality award for 2025, so you will come to a pleasant and developing work environment. You can easily reach both accommodations, as public transport is very good. The accommodations are located near green areas and ski trails.

Your new job

As a nurse with us, we offer attractive working hours where you work daytime from 07:00 to 16:00 Monday to Friday and every sixth weekend. Light weekends and major holidays are distributed based on an agreement among all nurses in the area. We provide a stimulating and developing work environment where you will have the opportunity to work both independently and in a team. You will receive ongoing professional development in various areas.

Common tasks

As a nurse with us, you will become an important part of a team that works to promote physical, mental, and social health among our citizens.

As a nurse, you will perform individualized health and medical care tasks focusing on each citizen's unique needs. In your work, you will collaborate closely with your nursing colleagues and care staff, and you will also collaborate with other healthcare institutions, such as regional nurses and doctors at health centers.

You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate medical treatment and care interventions. Other important tasks include mentoring and training care staff as well as delegating tasks. You will document and update patient records continuously in our operational system.

Qualifications

Requirements

  • Licensed nurse
  • Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
  • Driving license B

Meritorious

  • Work experience as a nurse
  • Experience in municipal elderly care
  • Experience in municipal health and medical care
  • Experience with the systems Viva, Cosmic Link
  • Good computer skills
