Are you a nurse interested in working at a central special accommodation in Östersund municipality?

Here, there are good opportunities for collegial support, as you will share the workplace with two other experienced nursing colleagues. You will have excellent opportunities to learn and develop in the role.

We offer a temporary position until June 2027 with good opportunities for extension within the municipality.

Sollidenvägen 64C is a large special accommodation with 52 places located in close proximity to Östersund's ski trails. The accommodation has very good bus connections, and there is a large parking lot outside, making it easy to get to work smoothly.

Your new job

As a nurse with us, we offer attractive working hours where you work daytime from 07:00 to 16:00 Monday to Friday and every sixth weekend. Light weekends and major holidays are distributed based on agreement among all nurses in the area. We provide a stimulating and developing work environment where you have the opportunity to work both independently and in a team. You will receive ongoing professional development in various areas.

Common tasks

Our workplace has a health-promoting and rehabilitative approach, and we strive to contribute to safe and secure care for our citizens so they can live an active and independent life. As a nurse with us, you will be an important part of a team that works to promote physical, mental, and social health among our citizens.

As a nurse, you will perform individualized health and medical care tasks focusing on each citizen's unique needs. In your work, you will closely collaborate with your nursing colleagues and care staff, and you will also cooperate with other healthcare institutions, such as regional nurses and doctors at health centers.

You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate medical treatment and nursing interventions. Other important tasks include mentoring and training care staff as well as delegating tasks. You will document and update patient records continuously in our operational system.

Qualifications

Requirements

  • Licensed nurse
  • Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
  • B driver's license

Meritorious

  • Work experience as a nurse
  • Experience in municipal elderly care
  • Experience in municipal healthcare
  • Experience with the systems Viva, Cosmic Link
  • Good computer skills
