Welcome to apply for the position of substitute preschool teacher at Vallens Preschool.

We are currently looking for a preschool teacher for Vallens Preschool, located in central Värnamo. The preschool has received the Swedish National Agency for Education's award “School for Sustainable Development,” which is also an ongoing development project. The preschool's opening hours are within the range of 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM. Some meetings are scheduled for the evening from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM, usually every third week.

Responsibilities

As a preschool teacher, you have a pedagogical responsibility based on the curriculum's mission and actively work with pedagogical planning, observation, documentation, reflection, follow-up, and analysis. Through your professional approach, you meet each child based on the fundamental values described in the preschool curriculum. The working method is based on you being a cheerful, close, and co-researching educator who provides children with the best conditions for development. The work is carried out in a trusting collaboration with colleagues and guardians.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a preschool teacher education, good insight into the preschool's mission and curriculum, as well as an interest in working with digital tools and sustainable development. You have a pedagogical perspective that combines professional care and teaching. You are clear and solution-oriented and have the ability to create engagement and joy at work.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability and experience working with children with special needs and working with AAC (alternative and augmentative communication). Your experience and joy in the profession are your strengths when it comes to developing the work.
