The Social Crime Prevention Unit consists of collaboration forms SSPF (school, social services, police, leisure), SIG (social intervention group), exit programs, and prevention teams, which we are now strengthening with employees for school social teams in collaboration with the education office.
The purpose and goal of the unit's work is to offer support as early as possible in a person's life or at the beginning of a problem development to prevent or reduce negative consequences.
We focus on preventing children and young people from committing crimes, breaking a criminal development, preventing recidivism, and providing crime prevention parenting support.
Your Responsibilities
As a team leader, you have a central role in partially supporting and coordinating the daily work of the unit.
You are there to support employees in complex cases and ensure that the work maintains high quality and contributes to implementing the unit's goals in practice. You also contribute to a good collaborative climate and a good working environment.
A large part of the assignment involves actively participating in the design of the new school social teams.
Together with the manager, you plan, structure, and coordinate the teams. You work with collaboration, development, and operational follow-up.
As a team leader, you have a natural ability to build team spirit and create conditions for the teams to succeed together.
Motivating, supporting, and facilitating collaboration among colleagues is an obvious part of your leadership.
Who are you?
We are looking for someone who is a social worker or has another higher education degree that the employer assesses as equivalent.
We view experience working with children, youth, and their parents positively. If you have experience in a supervisory role, we see it as an asset.
We would like you to have knowledge of risk and protective factors related to children and young people developing norm-breaking behavior, as well as experience working with school attendance.
Experience in organizational development within the framework of crime prevention is seen as positive.
As a person, you see relationships in their proper perspective, distinguish between the personal and professional, and have a positive attitude towards your surroundings.
You recognize and seize opportunities for change and contribute to a positive work climate, where you support and develop others in their work.
You thrive in team settings where you find it easy to collaborate and communicate constructively.
Furthermore, you take responsibility for your tasks, plan and structure your approach independently, and drive your processes forward even when the pace is high.
You demonstrate a high degree of flexibility and have the ability to adapt your working methods as the unit develops. You have a good ability to work towards the organization's goals and vision.
As a person, you are secure, stable, and can make decisions considering all available information and possible alternatives. Your ability to remain calm in pressured situations makes you a stable point for both colleagues and those we serve, with a focus on the mission.
A B driver's license for manual transmission is a requirement for the position.
