Kurera Omsorg is looking for personal assistants in Linköping

Scope: Part-time
Employment type: As long as the assignment lasts or as needed

We are looking for individuals who can work inconvenient hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays. There may be sleeping on-call or awake night shifts in your work schedule.

We prefer that you are a non-smoker.

The job may involve personal transfers. The work is solitary, but there may also be occasions for double staffing.

Introduction and training at the workplace will be provided by an experienced colleague before you start your first shift.

As an assistant, you should assist in all ADL situations and be available for various types of activities and hobbies that the client wants to participate in. This may include visits to relatives, friends, medical appointments, rehabilitation training at home or at rehabilitation centers, and sometimes the assistant may need to accompany the client on trips.

If you have previous experience with medical aids, it is a plus, but training will be provided at the workplace, so it is not a requirement.

Assistive devices such as lifts, turners, and communication aids may be present with the clients, and previous experience is desirable but not required.

If you have previous experience with clear pedagogical methods, sign language as alternative communication (TAKK), or low-affect responses, we see it as a plus but not a requirement.

You should be able to communicate in Swedish, both spoken and written.

As a personal assistant, you should be comfortable working in another person's home where there may be a family and possibly children, with all that it entails.

You should also be comfortable accompanying the client in their leisure activities or hobbies. This can include everything from swimming, outdoor activities, theater, cinema, etc.

Kurera Omsorg has clients with various types of functional variations, and all our clients have different types of support needs.

We would prefer that you have a B driver's license as many of our clients have their own cars or live in areas where public transport does not function well for commuting to and from work.

Kurera Omsorg is looking for individuals who want to make everyday life as normal as possible based on our clients' needs and wishes. You should be creative, cheerful, and have a twinkle in your eye. You should simply want to make your client's everyday life the very best based on their wishes and desires every day.

We also prefer that you are in good physical shape as there may sometimes be heavier tasks in your work as a personal assistant.

Criminal Record Check:
To work with underage clients or clients with children in the home, a criminal record extract is required. We also need you to provide a personal certificate and a photo of a valid ID before we can create a potential employment. The personal certificate can be ordered from the Tax Agency.
