Job Description

The LSS authority is responsible for the overall decision-making process for people with disabilities according to the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons (LSS). One of our case officers is on parental leave, and we are therefore looking for a substitute. As a case officer in disability care, you will work with the overall decision-making process under the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons. You will investigate, assess, and make decisions based on current legislation and follow up on decisions made. The work involves extensive contacts with both individuals and their relatives, other authorities, and care providers. In these contacts, it is important to provide accurate and clear information about current interventions. Your work is independent, but you have the opportunity to receive support from the unit manager and colleagues.

You will report to the unit manager in the Support and Service area. We offer you work in an engaged and knowledgeable staff group. With us, you have access to legal guidance with an external supervisor. Furthermore, we offer subsidized wellness activities.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• A degree in social work or other education that the employer assesses as relevant for the position.
• Current experience in social work within LSS.
• Experience in LSS authority exercise is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of documentation and case management.
• Good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing.
• Knowledge of the Life Care operational system is an advantage.

You should be professional in your role and have a good attitude as well as strong collaboration skills. In your role, you are structured and flexible. You should be self-driven and a team player. You have the ability to plan and prioritize your work and independently drive your cases forward. You build trust and good relationships and have the ability to maintain these relationships through long-term collaboration. You are solution-focused.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Possession of a driver's license is a requirement.
