Who are we?

Fiskebyvägen 10B is a group home near Eneby Centrum where six users live. We are eleven employees working to provide approved services according to the LSS Act.

Our residence is aimed at individuals with disabilities who exhibit challenging behaviors as well as epilepsy. In our work, we focus on the needs and wishes of the users.

We have the individual in focus and work with low-affect responses, motivational interviewing (MI), and care needs.

Together, we are responsible for leading the operations towards our set goals where our competence and participation are crucial for the organization. We work to create a meaningful and safe everyday life for our users.

Your responsibilities

As a support educator with us, you have a central role in developing both the organization and your colleagues.

In your daily work, you are present with the users and work alongside support assistants and caregivers to provide individually tailored support based on the implementation plans.

You motivate and support the users while creating good conditions for participation and independence.

As a support educator, you work on developing, implementing, and following up on work methods and routines.

You work on the team’s professional development through supervision and collaborate with relatives, guardians, and authorities to create a comprehensive picture and cohesive support.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with a relevant post-secondary education as a support educator, occupational therapist, social worker, or other education that the employer considers relevant for the position.

To thrive and succeed in the role, we see that you have experience in clear pedagogical methods, low-affect responses, and challenging behaviors such as threats and violence.

We view knowledge of sign language support and the LSS Act positively.

As a person, you are secure and humble. You find it easy to build relationships and collaborate with others.

You enjoy meeting people and have a good ability to adapt your communication to the person you meet.

You are skilled at implementing changes and development work and strive to achieve set goals.

You are inclusive and coaching in your way of working and contribute to an environment where people lift each other up and share knowledge and experiences.

As a person, you easily adapt to changes that may occur in the work. You are factual, can handle conflicts and difficult issues when the situation requires it.
